WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrades upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item upgrades used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current item level of the item upgrading being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources.
