WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item level upgrade (click through the following website) is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that are used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level, in the event that there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current item upgrader kit level and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. After an item level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Upgraders for items are available in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting an entirely new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players finish certain achievements or quests.

The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be used on equipment of a particular rank, and that each rank has its own requirements for upgrading. The most basic and straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex may require as many as 20 crests based on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, raids or dungeons with any difficulty for higher-tier items, or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses to obtain endgame gear. These crests can then be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once an item reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to get their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
