The dust bin is expected to last for around 30 loads or a month and half. You'll need to replace the filter on a regular basis (as recommended by iRobot). The iRobot S9+ is not very loud when it's in use making it a great option for families with pets or children.

Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid

The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid vacuum and mopping machine is an excellent choice for those living in a multi-floored home. Its dual motors offer incredible cleaning power, and the vacuum's 0.6l dustbin can hold plenty of pet hair. The dustbin can be taken away and emptied with ease which is beneficial because you'll need to clean it frequently.

It's also simple to set up, though I recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the first time. Like many robotic vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with floors that are not clean. It can be unable to see pet hair or small items, and it tends to bump into objects - like its own charger on the charging base. It's not as quiet and the whirring noise can be distracting like other models.

Roborock V3S Pro

This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we've tested, but it has all the essentials. It has a large dust bin which can hold a lot of dirt before needing to be emptied. The mop and vacuum system is great for both carpets with hard floors as well as carpets with a low pile. It's also super quiet and we could watch the TV while it was working without feeling like it was bombarding us with noise.

Our testers were very impressed by how simple the machine was to operate and set up. They also loved its ability to remove all the mess from their flooring. It even did a pretty good job at removing pet hair and messes from carpeting, but it wasn't as successful in removing stubborn stains. They found the app easy to use and easy to use, and were able to schedule the vacuum to clean regularly to reduce the amount they needed to do manually. The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choice lists of trusted sources who perform hands-on tests, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They appreciated the ease with which it was install and use, however they also noted that the battery life was short and it didn't manage to avoid some of the most stubborn mess we've put it through.
