The best hybrid robot vacuum mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot best vacuum and mop robot combo is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think it's a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best value robot vacuum mop robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum mop hybrid known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
